Beep 2011

Beep 2011 is the first "real" gadget convention (that I know of) here in Denmark, and of course my bf talked me into going.

It was held in Bella Centeret, and was filled with gadgets.

To be honest it could have been better, BUT when you think that it was their first time they did it pretty well.

So here is a couple of pictures from it

I do believe that they nailed the future of tv, of course with room to improve.

Christmas decorations DIY

This is gonna be a DIY project for beginners and clumsy people like me - pinecone edition.

I tend to find that some of the christmas decorations you can buy at the store you can easily make at home, and if you have kids (or just am a big kid) this is perfect.

Some pinecones I found in the woods

Some glitter- this was something I had laying around, you can use whatever glitter you like and it doesn't have to be white as snow.

Decoupage glue... again something I have laying around lol. Decoupage glue is nice, cause when it dries you can't see it.

A pensel. I just used the first one I found

Pour the glitter up into the lid so you have better control.

put some glue on one side of the pinecone and then dip it in the glitter, and do this again and again till the pinecone is covered like you want it.

Finished result - I kept some of them au neutral, cause I like it that way :)

I use these for christmas decorations, but you can easily put a string (not a ring lol) on it, and hang it on the christmas tree. Hope this was helpful :)

Small haul

Its been a couple of days since i've been blogging, sorry about that but a lot of things are going on a the moment.

This little black star I didn't buy (I got it from my bf), but I thought I would sneak it in this post.

It is a black star with rhinestones that supports cancer research.

Cancer is something that needs to be stopped, it has taken away way too many precious life's from us, so I will do anything to help those smart people out there who is trying to figure out a cure.

My goal

Weight has been and always will be a big issue for me... dont ask cause Im so fucked up in that department pardon my french, might tell you guys why some day.

Anyways I had a little melt down today and decided that instead of crying about my weight, Im gonna do something about it.

Im not gonna be a total strick one this month cause I can tell you right now that it is not possible with all the things going on this month.

But as always I will go to my gym, I use popilates/blogilates youtube videos and recipes and on top of that I just signed on to something called shapeupclub.com. It is free and there is even an app for the iphone, maybe even for android too. 

Shapeup is pretty cool cause you can register what you eat and your exercises, so Im gonna give it a little go and hopes it goes well.

So as I said Im not gonna go hardcore at it, plus the app told me my weight was normal so my goal is just to lose a few pounds and tone a bit up :)
