Christmas time - finding a tree

A couple of days ago I was with some of my bf's family out to find a cute christmas tree.
My bf was supposed to have gone with us, be he got a really bad backache so his mom, sister and me decided to do it ourselves. It was a really nice trip.. freaking cold, but we had a good time.
The worst part of the trip was that there was so much ice on the ground that we were skating around and just trying to stand on our two feet... it was actually also very funny

I passed my...

I PASSED MY EXAM!!!!

I am so so happy words can't even describe it. It was my social studies exam I had to pass, and guess what... I got the highest grade 12 (that would be an a+ for some of you guys)
I have really worked hard on my presentation, so I am really proud of myself.
It was a 24 hour exam, that means you get the questions for the subject of your choice a day before. Then it is up to you to answer the questions and defend the life out of it :)
I was actually really nervous because the guy before me only got a 4 (that would be b-) and he was really good and he is one of those guys that can smooth talk the teachers, so I was honestly shaking in my pants lol, but yay I did well

After that I had to go to the dentist. They called me early this morning and said that they could understand my pain and they actually had found some time for me today after the exam, so off I went to get my wisdom tooth pulled out.
It was not very pleasant but I am actually very happy to get rid of that awful pain... I still have pain, but not in the same way.
So now I am in bed feeling a tiny bit sorry for myself (lol) and watching gossip girl.

Sorry for the boring blogs.. will do better :)

quick blog

Hey guys.. super short blog today sorry.
Right now I am studying for an exam tomorrow, and on top of that I have a killer toothache. I have a wisdom tooth that needs to be pulled out :S and they cant do until after christmas so I have to live with the pain until then.
Anyways I have to get back to my papers, I'll let you know how it goes.
Btw if you have any tips on how to master an exam please let me know

Today my bf got an early christmas present from work, and it was the beautiful Georg Jensen candlesticks.
Georg Jensen is really expensive, so I was surprised when my bf told me they had offered him this generous gift.

I cannot wait to find a place for these :D

Movie monday - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

My opinion:

I was so excited to see this movie and I sat in a queue for over an over to buy these tickets to see the movie. However I felt sad when I left the movies that I had spent so much time and money on this and it wasn't even worth it. 

I have read the hobbit and it did not live up to my expectations at all (almost no movie is better than the actual book - I know). When I first saw lord of the rings (all 3) I was so captivated by the magic of the film when you saw it, this time there was none. I felt like Peter Jackson focused too much on the 3D effect that he forgot to make the hobbit just as magical as the other movies. 

But on the plus side I do have to say that the 3D effect was PERFECT! Never have I have seen that good a 3D effect in a movie. It was like you were there.

My boyfriend has never read the book and I asked him what he felt about the movie, and he told me that he actually was very entertained, but like me the magic just wasn't there.

I do recommend this movie, just don't expect the wow feeling.
